Everything you need to know about SecureMe
SecureMe uses PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 with 150,000 iterations and per-user salt for password hashing. All data is stored locally using Android Keystore and iOS Keychain, providing hardware-backed encryption. Your passwords never leave your device.
SecureMe supports fingerprint recognition, face ID, and device passcode authentication. The app automatically detects available biometric methods on your device and provides secure fallback options.
No. SecureMe follows a zero-knowledge architecture where all encryption and data storage happens locally on your device. We never have access to your passwords or personal data.
SecureMe analyzes URLs in real-time to detect potential phishing attacks, malware, and suspicious domains. The analysis is performed using advanced threat detection algorithms to keep you safe while browsing.
For security reasons, SecureMe doesn't support password export. This prevents potential data breaches and ensures your passwords remain secure within the app's encrypted environment.
Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, we cannot recover your master password. You would need to reset the app and lose access to stored passwords. We recommend using biometric authentication as your primary method.
Yes, SecureMe is open source and follows industry best practices for security and regularly undergo security audits to ensure the highest level of protection for our users.
We recommend updating passwords every 3-6 months or immediately if you suspect a breach. SecureMe's password generator makes it easy to create strong, unique passwords for all your accounts.
